Timeline
April 16, 1971- Marcela and Abraham give Birth to Selena on Easter Sunday
1981- Abraham quits his job at the chemical plant and opens a resturaunt where Selena and her older sibblings Suzette and A.B preform. When the local economy goes bust, the family goes broke and moves to Corpus Christi.
Mid-80's- Sel quits school at 8th Grade and tours around Texas. She would later get her diploma through mail-in schooling.
* At age 15 she wins her first Tejano music Award for Best Female Entertainer. She would win every year for the next 9 years.
1991- "Como La Flor" reaches #1 on the Billboard Charts.
April 2, 1992- She marries guitarist Chris Perez.
1994-
* Selena Wins Grammy for "Selena Live"
*She lands a small part in "Don Juan DeMarco"
*She opens 2 boutiques named "Selena Etc."
* She begins work on her English debut Album
February 26,1995- Selena Gives a concert for 65,000 people at the Houston Astrodome.
March 31, 1995- Selena is shot by Yolanda Saldivar, her fan club president. She doesn't survive. Some people say she was Pregnant when she died.
